I. Main Aim, Objective of National Democratic Trade Union: (NDTU) are as under: |
(1) Lay a ROADMAP for the organised and unorganised Labour by the International treaties, national and regional policies. Objectives of National Democratic Trade Union: (NDTU) The following are the objectives of trade union: (1) To improve the economic lot of workers by securing them better wages. (2) To secure for workers better working conditions. (3) To secure bonus for the workers from the profits of the enterprise/organization. (4) To ensure stable employment for workers and resist the schemes of management which reduce employment opportunities. (5) To provide legal assistance to workers in connection with disputes regarding work and payment of wages. (6) To protect the jobs of labour against retrenchment and layoff etc. (7) To ensure that workers get as per rules provident fund, pension and other benefits. (8) To secure for the workers better safety and health welfare schemes. (9) To secure workers participation in management. (10) To inculcate discipline, self-respect and dignity among workers. (11) To ensure opportunities for promotion and training. (12) To secure organizational efficiency and high productivity. (13) To generate a committed industrial work force for improving productivity of the system. (14) Fight for best infrastructure, safety and facilities in respective Institution and industry. (15) Render service to the nation in the field of national building communal harmony, national unity and integration and against Manuwad and Manusmrithi. (16) Restrain from Militant forms of Labour Unionism (17) Move the Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary for framing, execution and by the jucial review for healthy Labour Reforms. (18) Fight and provide residential Houses / Plots / apartments to the members of Federation,who do not own any house or property on their names. (19) To fight for the protection of the Constitution of India in letter and spirit and restrain conspirators of bringing Manusmrithi in its place. (20) Fight for nationalization of private industries and fight for protect PSUs. (20) Celebrate Labour Day and Labour Icons & national anniversaries National Democratic Trade Union: and NDSP's anniversaries. (21) Fight for enhance ESI Benefits including extended hospital facility. (22) Fight for Economic and Non Economic Objectives of the Federation's members. (23) Fight for Short-Term and Long-Term Objectives of Federations members. (24) Other aim as decided by the respective General Body from time to time AMONG OTHERS. I. Working of National Democratic Trade Union: (NDTU) I. NDTU 's Unit's Labour General Body : NDTU 's Unit's Labour General Body in each industrial area will consist of all NDTU members in Industrial area who are more than the age of 18 years, not insane or are not bankrupt that Unit NDTU's Units GB reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour, safety, protection from job etc and suggest Labour policies, Socio-economic advancement, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all Labour. The respective GBM elects or as NDSP appoints its respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries(2 (one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective committee is answerable to its General Body and the Higher Committees and its principal NDSP. Unit GB also elects its 10 delegates 2 each to represent at at Village / Division Labour General Body, Mandal/Black Labour General Body, District Labour General Body, PC Constituency's Labour GB, State Labour General Body, All India Labour General Body. II. NDTU 's Village / Municipal Ward General Body (VLGB) consists of all members and delegates of respective industrial unit in respective Village or Municipal Division or Municipality and that GB reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in Village. The respective village / Division Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from Units and Village respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries(2 (one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective Labour committee is answerable to the General Body and the Higher Committees and NDSP. III. NDTU 's Mandal or Block General Body (ML/BGB) will consist of all delegates of respective VILLAGE / division General Body in Mandal or as appointed by NDSP. reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in Mandal or Block. The respective Mandal or Block Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from Units and Village respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries(2, one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective Labour committee is answerable to the Mandal/Block General Body and the Higher Committees and NDSP. IV. NDTU 's Parliamentary Constituency General Body (PCLGB) will consist of all delegates of respective VILLAGE / division General Body in Parliamentary Constituency or as appointed by NDSP, reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in Parliament Constituency. The respective PC Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from PC Units and Village respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries (2, one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective PC Labour committee is answerable to the PC General Body and the Higher Committees and NDSP. V. NDLF's District Labour General Body (DLGB) will consist of all delegates of respective VILLAGE / division General Body in such District or as appointed by NDSP, reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in District. The respective Dist Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from Labour Units in District. DLGB elects its respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries (2, one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective District Labour committee is answerable to the District Labour General Body and the Higher Committees and NDSP. V. NDTU 's State Labour General Body (SLGB) will consist of all delegates of respective VILLAGE / division General Body in such State or as appointed by NDSP from among members of Labour in the State. It reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in the State. The respective State Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from Labour Units in State. SLGN elects its respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries (2, one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. The respective State Labour committee is answerable to the State Labour General Body and the Higher Committees and NDSP. VII. NDTU 's National Labour General Body (NLGB) will consist of all delegates of respective VILLAGE / division General Body in such State or as appointed by NDSP from among members of Labour in the Nation. It reviews and forecasts, plans, coordinates the Labour Cultural advancement, empowerment, welfare, self respect and constitutional rights of all the Labour in the Nation. The National Labour GBM elects or as appointed by NDSP from Labour Units in the Nation. NLGB elects its respective Executive Committee members consisting of 2 Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), Vice Presidents (one each for Men and Woman), General Secretary (2) (one each for Men and Woman), Secretaries (2, one each for Men and Woman), Jt Secretary (4, 2 each for Men and Woman) and Treasures (2 - One each for Men & Woman) for a period of Two Years. Annual Membership fee: The membership fee is used for its village/ward committee in achieving its objectives at village or ward level. The membership fee is subject to audit by its members through GBM and also by the internal and external auditors. The annual membership fee is as under : (i) Labour below poverty line : Re. 1-00. (ii) Labour who are in Lower Middle Class : Rs. 10-00/- (iii) Labour who are in Upper Middle Class :Rs.100/- (iv) Labour who are Income Tax Payers : As Desired Membership fee is used for NDLF's events or organising meetings expenses. |
